Artistic bicycle is a form of competitive indoor cycling in which athletes perform tricks on specialized, fixed-gear bikes in a format similar to ballet or gymnastics. This discipline is very popular in the circus arts.
This is a 2 hour workshop where you will be shown the basics of artistic bicycle by a renowned national coach. You will need to bring closed toe shoes, preferably Asics wrestling shoes. If you do not have shoes that are suitable, we have some available. Artistic bicycles will be provided.
Session 1 will be from 11am-1pm.
Session 2 will be from 1:30pm-3:30pm.
Kathrin Igel is a renowned RKB national coach in artistic cycling. As an A-trainer and sports and business coach, she has years of experience in training top athletes and has accompanied numerous world and European champions on their way. She has also taught artistic cycling to Cirque du Soleil artists around the world. For many years she has also been passionately involved in the training of coaches.
